Lisbon is the city of arrival for most international visitors and serves as a good home base for a visit to Portugal. In fact, it’s well located and could easily serve as a starting point for exploring many parts of Spain as well. The City of Seven Hills has a lot to offer. We would encourage the […]

Getting Around by Train in Europe
Unlike much of North America, Europe basically runs on trains. We’ve had a lot of positive experiences using trains in the U.K., France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Doing these 7 things before leaving on a trip will save you time and money…

Attending travel seminars and meeting the experts is going to be great for […]

If you are lucky enough to be going on a long trip or extended vacation we’re excited for you. For a variety of reasons we’ve always been somewhat restricted from taking long trips. Limited work vacation windows, pets to get back to, or simply limited time or money have held us back. We’ve often thought, especially on […]
Wintertime Diving in South Florida
Some mornings I feel like the weather is laughing at us as the winds pick-up and the seas get choppy. Especially when a North East wind appears, boating conditions deteriorate and our dive excursions get cancelled. Of course one must think of safety first and anyone that has tried to get on a boat ladder […]
