We have been using travel reward cards to pay for travel, mostly because of their great benefits that include travel insurance. But with our Chase Reserve Sapphire card we got the keys to the coveted new Chase Sapphire lounges too.
A nice perk of the more expensive Chase Reserve Sapphire card is the Priority Pass membership that offers a $30 meal credit per trip (you can get two credits if you bring a guest) for lounges and restaurants (the latter will end July 1st, 2024). These are often independent lounges or airport restaurants that have an agreement with the Priority Pass program.

Chase Sapphire Lounge at LGA
We recently traveled to New York to attend the Beneath the Sea exposition in New Jersey and our tickets had us go through LaGuardia Airport. We had the pleasure of checking out the new Chase Sapphire lounge on our departure.
This lounge takes things to the next level compared to many of the private lounges we’ve seen. The spacious lounge is more reminiscent of what you might expect to find in Doha or Istanbul.
Game rooms, study areas, à-la-carte dining, and two floors with a spacious area for dining and lounging. On top of that everything is new and clean. Service was great and friendly.
We were very impressed and will definitely make it a point to keep our Sapphire card and visit the lounge when we go through LaGuardia airport (LGA).
There is also a new lounge at JFK, and we intended to check that one out when we traveled to NYC together last March. But since the lounge was located in a different terminal (Terminal 4) we opted to check it out at another time. But we can’t wait to see it as we were impressed with Chase Sapphire Lounges at LaGuardia.
