We finally had the chance to dive the famous Blue Heron Bridge dive site and we know now why it has been voted the best shore dive in the United States! Also, snorkelers can enjoy the easy access Phil Foster Park Snorkel Trail.
This lovely park is located in the Tampa Bay Area and makes for a delightful place to relax and chill out. For us this was the perfect spot to stop for lunch and stretch our legs as we made our way up the coast to Tarpon Springs from Miami.

Last Sunday we went to go take part in SOS’s beach cleanup in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. More than a beach cleanup, this was an informative day with kiosks and tables setup by a number of local environmental causes and organizations including sea turtles, sharks, rescue a reef, and even some local dive shops.
