The Neptune Memorial Reef is a man-made reef located 3.25 miles offshore from Key Biscayne in Miami. It’s an artistic rendition of the Lost City of Atlantis and makes for a different and unforgettable scuba diving experience. The Neptune is an underwater burial site and is a protected sanctuary thriving with marine life.
Located just off Fort Lauderdale Beach, Hog Heaven is a dive site that includes a 180-foot barge that was intentionally sunk in September 1986 as part of the Florida Artificial Reef Program. Thirty plus years of growth is well evident on the wreck and it’s literally covered in coral and full of life!
We finally had the chance to dive the famous Blue Heron Bridge dive site and we know now why it has been voted the best shore dive in the United States! Also, snorkelers can enjoy the easy access Phil Foster Park Snorkel Trail.
