Located on the Iberian Peninsula Spain borders the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic. It’s one of those countries that must be visited more than once because of all that it has to offer: a cultural and art scene, beautiful architecture, historical sites, great food and beautiful beaches. Spain’s landscape is as diversified as it is spectacular, and the country enjoys good weather year-round.

Throughout our travels in Spain, we have enjoyed various travel experiences including train travel, cruises, as well as lazing around at some beach resort on the Costa del Sol. Wandering around cities like Barcelona, Madrid, Zaragoza, and Seville. Exploring port cities such as Malaga or Valencia is always a fun experience.
Spending our time in the historical center and visiting must-see attractions or stumbling upon lesser known but interesting sights is always at the top of our list.

We also enjoyed taking a cruise from Barcelona to the Canary Islands, which are a Spanish archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast from Morocco and the Western Sahara.
Another idea is to rent a car and go on a road trip. We did couple of those. Once from Toledo to Cordoba and another time from Madrid to Valencia to Zaragoza. I think we will end up doing a few more of these…
